Jim serves KAST as a Project Executive leading multiple project teams in the Southeast Florida region on large scale projects including high rise, office, educational, municipal, and tenant improvement. He is a South Florida native and has worked in the local engineering and construction field since 1992. A natural builder and leader, Jim pursued and earned degrees in engineering, management, and construction from General Motors Institute and Florida International University. Jim loves to figure out how to materialize visions into reality and really enjoys doing this for his clients. He is equally passionate about creating great experiences in the building process, including for the teams of builders he leads, and he spends most of his time coaching his teams, injecting humor and positivity, and pursuing operational improvements to smooth out the historically rough road of construction. Jim is a devoted husband and father of three young children. He loves to serve and volunteers with his church, as a facilities board member with the Palm Beach County Food Bank, and as an assistant coach with the PGA First Tee program. In his spare time, Jim loves to get hands-on with his drive to build and can be found getting dusty late into the evenings making things in his woodshop.
